The Biden Regime Claims North Korea is Supplying Russia’s Wagner Mercenaries with Arms

For months, the Biden regime has alleged that North Korea has supplied Russia with several thousands of artillery shells in an effort to assist the nuclear power in its drawn-out conflict with Ukraine. Both Russia and North Korea have categorized such allegations.
However, on December 22, 2022 the Biden regime launched accusations against North Korea for allegedly supplying weapons to North Korea.
Wagner is a private military contractor that has gained notoriety for participating in various theaters of combat such as Syria and Ukraine — where it has been accused of committing war crimes by Western detractors. As Tyler Durden of ZeroHedge noted, Wagner’s alleged founder Yevgeny Prigozhin is labeled as “Putin’s chef.”
“Wagner is searching around the world for arms suppliers to support its military operations in Ukraine,” White House national security spokesman John Kirby proclaimed in a December 22 press briefing. “We can confirm that North Korea has completed an initial arms delivery to Wagner, which paid for that equipment,” he continued.
Kirby described the private Russian contractor as a competing entity within the Russian power structure. The national security spokesman added that Wagner acts as a “rival” to the defense ministry.
Several reports alleged that Wagner mercenaries have conducted military operations with impunity and have not been subjected to the standard rules of engagement in the last ten months.
“Wagner is emerging as a rival power center to the Russian military and other Russian ministries,” Kirby continued, also calling attention to how Wagner is allegedly spending over $100 million monthly for Ukraine operations.
The European Parliament previously designated Wagner as a terrorist entity along with the Russian government in a resolution that it passed towards the end of November. The United States government is still considering that decision while also dialing up sanctions against the organization.
It has still yet to be determined exactly what types of weapons the North Koreans have sent to Wagner. According to Western coverage of the conflict, the Russian military was allegedly running low on artillery. In an official statement, the authorities Pyongyang denied such claims coming from the White House.
North Korea and Russia have generally had strong relations. In previous decades, when Russia was more amenable to working with the West, it would join in sanctions efforts against North Korea for its alleged attempts to expand its nuclear program.
However, Russia has grown less enthusiastic about going against North Korea in recent years due to both countries’ mutual hostility towards the Collective West and generally friendly relations on other matters not related to nuclear weapons.
These relations will only grow stronger as the Collective West grows more unhinged on the foreign policy front. Like its relations with Iran and China, Russia’s relations with North Korea will grow stronger as both countries simultaneously face pressure from the Collective West.
A de facto Legion of Doom — China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and Venezuela — is forming in response to the Collective West’s expansionists ambitions. Unfortunately, many policymakers haven’t caught on to this trend and only pursue policies that further consolidate this deadly alliance.
