Recent Package of US Military Aid Features 4 HIMARS

On October 4, 2022, the United States government sent Ukraine a military aid package of four High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS).

On top of that, the US government is sending Ukraine 16 155mm Howitzers and 105mm Howitzers, 75,000 155mm artillery rounds,1,000 155mm rounds of Remote Anti-Armor Mine Systems, 500 precision-guided 155mm artillery rounds, 30,000 120mm mortar rounds, 200 MaxxPro Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles, 200,000 rounds of small arms ammunition, obstacle emplacement equipment, and Claymore anti-personnel mines according to a TAAS report. The military gear was sourced from the Department of Defense inventories. 

It’s abundantly clear that the US and its satrapies want to continue funding a proxy war in Ukraine. The inevitable result will be an increased loss of life that could have been prevented in the first place. Russia holds escalatory dominance in this theater, which means that it will likely end up gobbling up further territories in Ukraine. On a balance of probabilities, nearly all of Eastern Ukraine will be under Russia’s control when it’s all said and done.

An America First solution to this problem is for the US to stop sending economic and military aid, along with intelligence to Ukraine. 

Instead, the US should let Russia, Ukraine, and other European parties reach a negotiated settlement to this conflict.

The current approach to this crisis will invariably lead to massive human losses and the increased potential for nuclear escalation between Russia and the US. In this scenario, nobody wins.
