Right-Wing Nationalist Sweden Democrats are Poised to Become Nordic Country’s Largest Party

Rents in many major urban centers are reaching all time high levels. John Binder of Breitbart News noted that the median rent for a one-bedroom apartment has now reached roughly $1,500 a month, per data from the Zumper National Rent Index

On a year-over-year basis, rents have increased by nearly 12%. This increase in rents topped last year’s record-setting rents.

Binder observed that “Cities inundated with mass immigration — New York City, New York; San Francisco, California; Miami, Florida; Los Angeles, California; and Washington, D.C. — have the highest rents as thousands of new arrivals every month push up the cost of housing immensely.”

Binder described this development as “a boon for real estate investors and a kick in the gut for renters and first-time homeowners.”

In the case of New York City, Binder called attention to how the median rent increased by nearly 40% on a year-to-year basis. For two-bedroom apartments, rent increased by over 46%.

For example, the median rent in Manhattan reached $4,212. Similar upward trends are taking place on the west coast, with the median rent in San Francisco hitting over $3,000 per month, while median rents in other California cities such as Los Angeles, Oakland, San Diego, San Jose,  and Santa Ana span from $2,160 to $2,780.

Miami is a city that has been heavily impacted by foreign migration. Almost 60% of residents are foreign nationals. Median rents in Miami have surged to $2,500 a month. In a similar vein, median rents in Washington, DC have reached $2,370.

As immigration surges, there will be a stronger demand for housing due to how many migrants tend to concentrate in major urban centers. Moreover, there are also many overclass, investor immigrants who buy up housing in urban centers, thereby pricing out many native residents out of the housing market.

In addition to the identity component, immigration has a socio-economic aspect that cannot be overlooked. An immigration moratorium would do wonders for most of the working class.

Right-wing nationalists can quickly earn the title of champions of the working class by pushing for restrictions on both legal and illegal immigration. American workers are being attacked on all fronts, and America First is the movement that’s perfectly positioned to be their champions.
