The Biden Regime is Still Attacking the Supreme Court

Despite the Supreme Court settling the abortion question in its Dobbs v. Jackson ruled, the Biden regime is still not happy with the decision. One America News has reported on how Vice President Kamala Harris has criticized this ruling as “problematic on so many levels.”

Harris believes that the Dobbs decision, which overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling, constitutes an alleged infringement on women’s rights.

“For the first time in the history of our nation, took a constitutional right that had been recognized and took it from the women of America, took a constitutional right,” Harris declared. “And what is so outrageous about this on every level is one, it is the taking of a right that was given and guaranteed and something that we took for granted to be settled law.”

The Vice President asserted that the Supreme Court is attempting to micromanage women’s bodies.

“We also know that we’ve had a history in this country of government trying to claim ownership over human body,” Harris added. “And we had supposedly evolved from that time and that way of thinking.”

On top of that, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra has promised to fight the decision, while conceding that the Supreme Court is the ultimate arbiter of constitutional questions.

Becerra put forward ideas such as transporting women across state lines to undergo abortion procedures and Congress codifying Roe into law as ways for the pro-abortion crowd to undermine the Dobbs’ ruling. In addition, Becerra argued that the five justices (Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett) who voted to strike down Roe are rogue political actors who want to make women suffer.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed that attacks on the Supreme Court are working. He expressed his dismay with the growing security threat that has emerged since the Dobbs decision took place. Republican-appointed justices are now potential targets for radical activists who have attempted to organize protests outside of their homes and are making deadly threats towards them.

These threats have worried Republican elected officials who believe that mob rule tendencies are becoming normalized in American politics.

The Marshall of the Supreme Court, Gail A. Curley, has previously urged Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin to take action against threats coming from these radicals.

The DHS has also confirmed cases of domestic extremists, overwhelmingly coming from the cultural Left, making threats of violence towards officials who don’t embrace their iconoclastic agenda.

The US is in a post-rule of law mode. The Right should pat itself on the back for the successful overturning of Roe, but the fight is far from over. Republicans at the state level need to start passing stronger abortion restrictions and punishing leftist NGOs and other non-profit entities. The latter is a necessary step towards curbing the power of the cultural Left.

The days of persuasion politics are over, and this requires a more sober Right to make hard legislative calls to reflect this new reality.
