POLL: 50% of Voters Believe Cheating is Likely to Take Place During the Midterms

The 2020 presidential election was marked by significant election irregularities, which raised many questions about its legitimacy in the eyes of a large portion of the American public.
The majority now fear that the upcoming midterm elections could be filled with irregularities and even cases of fraud.
According to a poll organized by Rasmussen Reports and The National Pulse, 52% of likely United States voters believe it is somewhat likely that electoral fraud affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. 36% believe it was “very likely” that fraud took place during the 2020 election.
43% don’t believe that it’s likely cheating had an impact on the outcome of the 2020 election. This also includes 30% who indicated that it’s “not at all likely” that fraud has had an impact on the 2020 election results.
Voters are still skeptical of vote-by-mail. 58% believe it’s somewhat likely that widespread use of mail-in voting will enable further cheating in elections, which includes 39% who indicated it’s “very likely.”
36% don’t believe mail-in voting is likely to lead to more incidents of voter fraud, which includes 16% who indicated it’s “not at all likely.”
76% of Republicans, 37% of Democrats, and 64% of independent voters believe it’s more important to ensure that there is no cheating in elections. 60% of Democrats, 20% of Republicans, and 33% of independent voters indicated that making it easier for everyone to vote is more important.
Republicans tend to be more concerned about voter fraud.
57% of Republicans believe it is “very likely” that increased use of mail-in voting will incentivize further cheating in elections. On the other hand, 20% of Democrats and 41% of independent voters share the same views.
52% of Republicans, 16% of Democrats, and 39% of independent voters believe it is very likely that cheating had an impact on the 2020 presidential election.
71% of Republicans, 36% of Democrats, and 43% of independent voters believe that it’s at least somewhat likely there will be rampant cheating that could have an impact on this fall’s congressional election results.
Approximately half (48%) of voters making over $200,000 annually believe it is “very likely” cheating had an impact on the 2020 presidential election.
The data is in and populist right-wingers should take note. Republican voters demand election integrity reforms. Candidates who campaign on this issue, and legislate on this issue if they get elected, will undoubtedly be politically rewarded by their constituents.
