28% of Voters Say the United States is Heading in the Right Direction

According to a Rasmussen poll that was conducted at the end of the week of November 10, 2022, 28% of likely United States voters believe the country is going in the right direction. By contrast, 65% of voters believe the United States is heading down the wrong path. In 2021, around this same period, 33% stated the US was going in the right direction. By contrast, 64% said the country was going in the right direction.
From November 6 to the 10, Rasmussen Reports conducted this poll using 2,500 likely voters.
Such pessimism is warranted when considering how the country is going through mass inflation, a collapsing border, rising crime, and a general distrust of the electoral process.
People are becoming fed up with the political system and are demanding answers. These times of political uncertainty will create the conditions for demagogues to come into the mix and cause all sorts of mayhem. When there are no viable options for voters to turn to, they will latch on to whatever demagogic figure offers the most compelling message.
The America First movement may be the only sector in American politics that can make things right and prevent the country from descending into complete chaos. A rational nationalist agenda predicated on strong borders, law and order, a restrained foreign policy, and an economy that serves the nation not special interest groups is a pragmatic agenda that America can use for maintaining stability and prosperity.
If the neoliberal/neoconservative consensus continues, the country is destined for collapse.
