POLL: 58% of Voters are Proud to be Americans

Despite the majority of Americans believing the United States is the best country on the planet, there is a significant number of them who believe the country is fundamentally racist and sexist.

According to a poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports and the Heartland Institute, 80% of likely US voters are proud to be Americans.  This figure includes 58% of voters who are “very proud” to be Americans. Just 19% aren’t proud to be Americans.

Across the political spectrum — 90% of Republicans, 70% of Democrats, and 80% of Independents —are still somewhat proud to be Americans. On the “very proud” category, more Republicans (74%) than Democrats (44%) or independents (55%) share this view.

In a similar vein, 77% of likely voters agree that America is the best country on the planet. This includes 52% who “strongly agree” and just 21% disagree with this sentiment. 90% of Republicans, 68% of Democrats, and 72% of independents at least somewhat agree with this sentiment about America being the best country on the planet.

Though there were some negative findings in this poll. 53% of likely voters at least somewhat agree that “America and most of its institutions are systemically sexist in favor of men” and 48% agree that America is a “systemically” racist country. Additionally, about a third of voters are in favor of granting the United Nations the power to protect civil rights in the US.

Some of the other notable findings highlighted in this Heartland/Rasmussen poll:

– Only 43% of likely voters disagree with the statement, “America and most of its institutions are systemically sexist in favor of men.” This includes 22% who “strongly disagree.” The majority (73%) of Democrats, 34% of Republicans, and 48% of independent voters believe America is a “systemically sexist” country.

– 49% of likely voters disagree with the statement, “America and most of its institutions are systemically racist,” which includes 31% who strongly disagree. 71% of Democratic voters believe that America is “systemically racist,” whereas 74% of Republicans disagree. Independent voters are almost evenly split, with 47% agreeing that America is a “systemically racist” nation and 48% disagreeing with this statement.

– 61% of likely voters are against legislation that would grant the United Nations the power to supersede the US government and protect the so-called “civil rights” of American citizens. This includes 50% who strongly oppose this UN power grab. Republicans voters (74%) and independents (63%) oppose granting the UN power over defending civil rights in America. By contrast, Democrats are divided on the UN question. 42% agree with legislation to grant the UN such powers, whereas 46% are in opposition.

– As far as the races are concerned, 83% of whites, 73% of blacks, 73% of Hispanic voters, and 77% of other non-whites are somewhat proud to be an American. 70% of black voters somewhat agree that “America and most of its institutions are systemically racist.” 41% of whites, 59% of Hispanics and 55% of other non-whites agree with this statement.

Voters making north of  $200,000 are most likely to strongly agree that America is a “systemically racist” nation.

The growing anti-Americanism is a product of a flawed education system and general culture that has been infected by multiple decades of globalist indoctrination. Right-wing populists need to make it a point to take back the education system and broader civil society in order to stem the spread of the woke mind virus. From there, they must re-instill American values of private property, law & order, federalism, national sovereignty and traditional social mores among the American public.
