US House Passes Resolution Criticizing “Great Replacement Theory”

On June 8, 2022 the US House passed a resolution condemning the “great replacement theory.”

This resolution was passed a few weeks after the Buffalo mass shooting that took place on May 14. The gunman mentioned the great replacement in his manifesto.

This resolution was passed on a vote of 218 to 205. The only Democrats who didn’t vote for this legislation were Maine Congressman Jared Golden and Michigan Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin, who joined Republicans in voting against this legislation.

At the heart of the great replacement theory, is the assumption that political elites in the Collective West are using mass migration to displace the Historic American Nation for electoral and cheap labor purposes.

This recent vote to condemn the great replacement represents what Claremont Institute Senior Fellow Michael Anton described as the “Celebration Parallax” which he described as “the same fact pattern is either true and glorious or false and scurrilous depending on who states it.”

Put simply, if the speaker praises a development like the great replacement, like the way liberals do in the corporate press, nothing happens. But when right-wing figures point out that the great replacement is dimming the Republican Party’s electoral prospects, they instantly get attacked.

That’s how the cookie crumbles in the Clown world polity that is contemporary USA.

Ultimately, populists must ignore the corporate press’s hand-wringing and pursue proactive policies such as an immigration moratorium to halt the great replacement and protect the US’s national character.
